As a member of the Media team, you are ultimately responsible for creating new relationships with sites and profitably bringing them onto the Tumri Display Network. The Media Buyer will work closely with the Ad Operations and Advertiser Sales teams to ensure smooth, profitable network operations and growth. This role will involve prospecting, negotiating and contracting new publishers based on the overall goals set forth by the Advertiser Sales team. There will also be a two-way relationship with the Ad Ops team where the Media Buyer will play a critical role in identifying new strategic media opportunities as well as analyzing and optimizing existing media.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with Advertiser Sales and Ad Ops teams to understand client requirements and maximize media team effectiveness
• Source, evaluate, contract, negotiate and execute on new media opportunities
• Manage all aspects of publisher relationships including monitoring their performance on the ad network, growing the relationship and identifying new opportunities within the account
• Identify new strategic media and data sharing opportunities that clearly leverage Tumri’s organizational capabilities
• Work closely with the entire Media team to ensure monthly, quarterly and annual objectives are met

Requirements

• Proactive, energetic, self-starter that can thrive in an entrepreneurial setting
• Proven results in hitting pipeline targets in a prior online BD role
• Multi-functional and able to perform in a team-based environment
• Strong analytical & metrics oriented mindset that can not only process quantitative results but also provide actionable suggestions based on these results
• Understanding of display advertising market (specifically publisher landscape)

Education and Experience

• Bachelor Degree in Related Field
• 2+ Years Experience in a Media Buying role
• Experience media buying at a large display ad network
• Understanding of CPA or Affiliate programs is a plus
