As President & CEO, Calvin is responsible for the overall strategy and day-to-day operations of the company. Calvin joins Tumri with over 12 years of experience in general management, team building and organizational leadership in companies both online and offline, with particular emphasis on sales, marketing, business development, and strategic finance. Most recently, he served as the Chief Operating Officer of Connexus, a leading Internet performance marketing company, and also served as President of its Traffic Marketplace division, where he spearheaded all aspects of daily operations of one of the leading advertising networks in the industry. Prior to Connexus, Calvin served as SVP of Sales & Marketing at Ticketmaster where he directed corporate-wide sales efforts and marketing strategies during a period when Ticketmaster expanded its internet business three-fold and introduced over 20 new products and services to the market. Calvin has also served as CEO at TheMan.com and held positions at Lycos, St. Paul Venture Capital and Credit Suisse First Boston.
Calvin holds an M.B.A. from Stanford University and a B.S. in electrical engineering, Magna Cum Laude, and a B.A. in economics-business, Magna Cum Laude, from the University of California, Los Angeles.
As Chief Strategy Officer, Hari is responsible for defining the strategic vision and direction of Tumri’s technology solutions. A serial entrepreneur before launching Tumri, Hari founded two startups, Accordia (acquired by Bristlecone Inc.) and SixthDimension (acquired by Comverge Nasdaq: COMV). Prior to the entrepreneurial ventures, Hari was responsible for strategic and product marketing at Aspect Development (acquired by i2 Technologies). Prior to Aspect Development, Hari was a member of the Strategy Practice consulting team at Accenture.
Hari holds an M.B.A. from Carnegie Mellon University and an M.S. in industrial engineering and operations research from Oklahoma State University. At CMU, Hari won the Faculty Award for Academic excellence and the Thomas Murrin award for Operations Management.
Pradeep is responsible for Tumri’s core technology and strategy. Pradeep also leads the companies’ technology solutions and integration with advertisers, agencies and publishers. Before founding Tumri, Pradeep was at the Emerging Technologies R & D team at Verity. Before joining Verity, Pradeep served as Director of Engineering at Inktomi. Before Inktomi, Pradeep co-founded iLeverage (acquired by e.Piphany), a real-time messaging platform company. He is an accomplished search and information retrieval architect.
Pradeep holds Masters and Post-graduate Research degrees in Number Theory from Oklahoma State University. Pradeep also holds double majors in Mathematics and Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani (BITS Pilani) in India.
David is responsible for campaign optimization and advertising operations along with Tumri’s Client Services group. Prior to Tumri, David was GM of Self Serve Products & International and VP of Business Development at Efficient Frontier, a leading global interactive agency. Previously, David was General Manager of Advertiser Web Services and Corporate Strategy at Yahoo! (formerly Overture Services) and was also Founder and CEO of eCandy/Enverta, a venture-backed digital merchandising marketplace that was acquired in 2002. David's past roles also include strategy consulting at Accenture and investment banking at BancAmerica Robertson Stephens.
David holds a BS in Engineering UC Berkeley and MS in Engineering & Management from Stanford University. David is currently a California State Commissioner on the Asian Pacific Islander American Affairs Commission.
Sandeep brings twenty years of technology and management expertise to Tumri with leadership experience as a technologist and an entrepreneur. Prior to joining Tumri, Sandeep co-founded and led engineering and technology at Full Degree/Amphire. Prior to Full Degree, Sandeep founded StarPoint, Inc. (which later became part of CMGI/AdForce), an ad-serving company delivering over a billion transactions a day. At CMGI/AdForce, Sandeep served as the Vice President of Technology and the Chief Architect responsible for the company's core technology, architecture, and strategic technology initiatives. Before CMGI/AdForce, Sandeep led a large team of engineers in systems design, project management, and release coordination at Verity, Inc. Sandeep also founded Omkar Software, an engineering consulting company providing operating systems and networking expertise for such clients as Taligent, Sony, and Integrated Systems.
Sandeep earned a BS and an MS in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology.
At Tumri, Ali is responsible for all media buying and strategic partnerships activities. Previously, Ali was VP & General Manager of Adteractive's Customer Acquisition business, managing roughly $80 MM in annual revenues. Ali was also responsible for Adteractive's entry into the post-transactional and abandonment business lines. Prior to Adteractive, Ali held management roles at Electronic Arts, Eloqua and Monitor Company.
Ali holds an MBA from Stanford Graduate School of Business, and a MSEE and BSEE from Queen's University in Canada.
